During the pandemic of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID–19, Phuket Rajabhat University – the university of Phuket’s local community - has been doing many things to help the community and to take care of our students to get them ready for the future.

WE ARE PKRU
The university executives work side by side with staff in voluntary work for university protection.
Screening Point and COVID-19 Prevention Center.
PKRU WHAT WE DO
Initiate the Phuket Rajabhat University COVID–19 Prevention Project raising money, getting face masks and essential items for medical personnel.
Sanitizing Hand Gel and Alcohol Production.
KNOW HOW
Workshop in making face masks made by Muslims/in Muslim style.
Training the students in demonstration school to make hand sanitizing gel.
PKRU Big Cleaning Day
Spraying sanitizer around the university areas.
Local
Giving face masks to sea gypsies in Rawai, Sapam Village in Koh Kaew Sub-district, and Hin Look Diew Village in Mai Khao Sub-district.
Community
Supplying equipment to medical personnel working on COVID-19 situation in Phuket temporary hospital and other hospitals on the island.
At Home Learning and Working
Supporting lecturers, staff and students to work and study online in an excellent platform.
Keeping everyone updated on the situation and prevention measures via the university communicating channels.


PKRU : BECAUSE WE CARE
Providing COVID-19 insurance with 100,000 baht compensation for lecturers, staff, and students.
Finding and assisting students affected by the pandemic by giving aid package, free lunch and other necessary assistance.
