PRPKRU (July 20th 2020) Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, the President of Phuket Rajabhat University; Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Prasarnkarn, the lecturer in Communication Arts Program as the coordinator to Phuket International Women Club or PIWC; the university staff and students welcomed Mrs. Wipa Tanmanatrakul, the President of PIWC; and the club committee members. In this meeting, the president, the committee members of PIWC, and the representatives of the university had discussed about the school records and livings of the students supported by the scholarships (continue) from PIWC. Besides PIWC also gave 19 scholarships, 20,000 baht each, to the students in 2020.

 

 

 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn expressed the gratitude to PIWC for supporting the students in the crisis of COVID – 19 as many of students and their families had been seriously by the outbreak. Additionally, the university has provided the assistance to the students e.g. reducing tuition fee, amortized tuition fee, providing part – time jobs and other welfares. The president confirmed that even in the difficult time, the university would persist in supporting the students to complete their education; without assistance from PWIC, the university would not be successful. Not only the scholarship, PWIC always gives the university the opportunities, ideas, and takes care of the students as one of the family members.  This has made the graduates supported by PWIC the quality personnel in local community and the role models for the new students in receiving and giving to the society.
