PKRU Works with International Schools to Supply Potential Staff to Businesses

PRPKRU (February 21st 2021) Thai Language Program, Faculty of Humanity and Social Science, Phuket Rajabhat University hosted a symposium called Thai Sillapasart and a MOU signing ceremony with the international schools in Phuket at Bukita Boutique Hotel Phuket. There were representatives of the university and the international schools attending the ceremony including Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, the President of PKRU, as the president of the opening ceremony; Mr.Theerapong Noochaikaew, the Dean of Faculty of Humanity and Social Science; executives from UWC International School, QSI International School, and Oak Meadow International School; together with university lecturers, staff, and students attending the ceremony.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn said in the opening session that “to ensure that the students are qualified and accepted by employers, Thai Language Program has instructed the students, based on the identity of the university which is being righteous, working hard, and volunteering. So far, our students have earned a good reputation in having morality, longing for knowledge, having good personality and good ability in applying the knowledge of Thai Language in self-development, during their internship in both government and private organizations, including international schools.
Moreover, their proven working ability has made them quickly employed by entrepreneurs right after their internships. The university therefore is signing the MOU with these three international schools in Phuket and working together in developing the courses and skills to fulfill the needs of the local entrepreneurs and of course, to create the students' clearer view of their career paths after graduation.”
