PKRU hosts 1st Southern Rajabhat University President Conference
PRPKRU (April 7th 2021) Phuket Rajabhat University hosted the 1st Southern Rajabhat University President Conference via the online system. There were presidents, executives and staff of Rajabhat University in southern provinces attending the conference including Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, the President of Phuket Rajabhat University; Asst. Prof. Dr. Tassana Sitichote, the President of Songkla Rajabhat University; Asst. Prof. Dr. Wichit Sookthorn, acting President of Nakhon Sri Thammarat; and presidents and executives of Yala and Suratthani Rajabhat Universities.
The five Rajabhat universities have been working under the strategy and mission of local community development. Besides, the similar environments of the southern region, where the universities are situated, also contribute to the similar working schemes, therefore this conference was held under the intention of the presidents to discuss and exchange information and ideas in policies, problems and solutions as well as to enhance knowledge and resource support among the five southern Rajabhat universities.
In addition, the presidents also discussed about short course management, improvement of Bachelor Degree curriculums and education management during COVID–19 situations. This conference helps the network strengthening of southern Rajabhat universities that would definitely contribute to the development of the universities in several dimensions.
