Vachira Phuket Hospital to set up temporary hospital in PKRU
(PRPKRU) In accordance with the preparation of a new temporary hospital in Phuket Rajabhat University, Mr. Suthep Mungkhun, the Vice President in Special Affairs at PKRU and executives and staff of the university, led related leaders including Mr. Pichet Panapong, the Deputy Governor of Phuket; Doctor Chelermpong Sukhontaphon, the Director of Vachira Phuket Hospital; medical staff team working in the Phuket Temporary Hospital; representatives from Rassada Municipality and Phuket Provincial Office of Public Works and Town Planning; plus local press; all went to inspect and prepare the location for the temporary hospital at Andaman Pannarai Conference Center in PKRU.
The hospital is provided with patient beds, facilities, security system, and area zoning to accept and provide treatment for COVID–19 patients under the operation protocol of Vachira Phuket Hospital. We will report the operation detail of the PKRU Hospital in the near future.
