PKRU hosts ‘Content Creator’ training for its staff


PRPKRU (June 9th 2021) The Public Relations Section under the Central Division, the Office of PKRU’s President, hosted the workshop training in public relations content and infographic media production for the university staff at Computer Lab 3 Room in PKRU’s Chalermphrakiat Building. The opening of the event was presided over by Dr. Piangjit Tanticharaswarodom, the Vice President in Administration. There were university executives and staff attending the event, including Mrs. Tipaporn Pornpirom, the Director of the Office of PKRU’s President; Mrs. Rattana Chanchana, the Director of the Central Division; and other staff.



Mrs. Tipaporn stated the objectives of this training: “the training is hosted to develop and encourage the staff in skills using digital technology in the production of public relation media, based on the mission of the university and its sections. These media will be used in driving the news and information policy, as well as to create a good perception about the university among society in terms of students’ admission, research presentation, educational services, student skills, and projects for local communities.”
To develop the professional content production skills for the staff responsible for communication work in divisions or departments of the university, the training was divided into 2 sessions including public relations content designed by Canva application, instructed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nipon Boriwethanon, a lecturer in the Faculty of Education; and professional and interesting content creation instructed by Miss Siwalee Tiangtham, the owner of Phuket OK Facebook page.


Dr. Piangjit also added that “the development of the skills and knowledge in digital media and content for public relations is an important and powerful tool for the new age organizations. PKRU is paying attention to this development and therefore set its communication strategy to be corresponding with digital marketing for several targets in local, regional, national and international levels. We hope that the training would benefit our staff; and I would like to express my gratitude to the staff who are attending this training for your dedication of self-development; you are all important parts to communicate and create good images of the university.”
