In this camp the students had an opportunity to learn many things about astronomy such as world time, universe, solar system, origin of stars, use of star map, Celestial coordinate, use of telescope, object observation, phases of the moon and usage, and space technology through fun games and activities.
Wassakorn Chaisombat, one of the students joined the camp told us that “I am interested in astronomy and the origin and ending of the planets, so joining this camp I understand more about them. One more thing I really like is that I have a chance to use the telescope for the first time; it’s fun and useful.”
At the end of the camp, the students were given the souvenirs supported by the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand, the Thai Astronomical Society, and Faculty of Science and Technology, Phuket Rajabhat University.
