PKRU and Marriott Hotel Group Hosts Tourism Career Workshop for Students
PRPKRU (September 1st 2022) The Faculty of Management Science at Phuket Rajabhat University in collaboration with Marriott Hotel Group organized the activity presenting and sharing experience of tourism and hospitality careers in Marriott Group Hotels in Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi, at MS PKRU Convention Hall.
There were the representatives of PKRU and Marriott Hotel Group participated the event including Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, the President of PKRU; Asst. Prof. Dr. Tawatchai Thumthong, the Vice President in Academic Affair of PKRU; Mr. Brad Edman, the Executive of Marriott International; PKRU lecturers and students from Faculty of Management Science.
In this event, the students were guided how to begin the career life in hotel and hospitality field by the professional hoteliers and PKRU alumni working in this field; besides the training and human resource staff from Marriott Hotel group also presented the students job positions of hotels in Marriott Group including JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa / Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach / Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort / Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town / Le Meridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa / Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Nai Yang Beach / The Naka Luxury Collection Phuket / Renaissance Phuket Resort and Spa / JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa / The Westin Siray Bay Resort and Spa Phuket / Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort.
