PKRU students received International Women’s Foundation scholarships
(September 7th 2022) Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, the President of PKRU; Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Prasankan, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Management Science (the Coordinator of International Women’s Foundation or PIWC) ; the university executives, staff and students welcomed Mrs. Wipa Tannanatrakul, the President of PIWC and the foundation committee members to the International Women’s Foundation Scholarship Presentation Year 2022 held Mahoganee Convention Hall in Satri Phuket School; giving scholarships to PKRU students and students from other schools in Phuket.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn expressed gratitude to PWIC that “I would to express my gratitude to PWIC for giving scholarships to our students. Our students and their families had been facing difficulties during the pandemic of COVID – 19; the university had been trying to ease their problems in many ways such as giving the students tuition fee discount or offer the installment payment; providing them part time jobs and other student welfares. Even it is harder for us, we strongly intend to support the students the be the qualified graduates, and this mission would not be successful without the PWIC’s helping hands. So far, a lot of scholarship students had graduated and became quality personnel in local organizations and communities. They also inspire the next generation of scholarship students in helping and giving which one the preferred qualities of PKRU students. For the scholarship students in this year, please take the given education opportunity to improve yourselves and society.”
