H.R.H. Princess Bajrakitiyabha gives degree parchments to PKRU graduates academic years 2017–2019
PRPKRU (November 29th 2022) His Majesty the King Maha Vajiralongkorn officially endorsed Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati as the representative to give the degree parchment to Phuket Rajabhat University Graduates Academic Year 2017-2019. The graduation ceremony was held at Wachialonglorn Conference Hall, Suratthani Rajabht University, Suratthani Province.
There were 3,033 graduates of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in attendance, as well as an expert awarded an honorary doctorate in laws who received the parchments from the princess.
Phuket Rajabhat University is the higher education institute for local community development. The university’s goal is to educate qualified graduates for local and national workforce market by fostering soft skills on the basis of social engineer, as well as, developing 4 preferable qualifications among the students, which include critical thinking, problem solving communication, team working ability, and innovation inventing ability for community problem solving, plus necessary skills for 21st century including English language, digital skills, and entrepreneur skills. As we are working on the post COVID – 19 economic and social foundation development by BCG economy, we believe that these skills and abilities contribute to better economy, society, environment, and education in Phuket, Phang Nga, and Krabi.
Furthermore, during the CID-19 pandemic, the university served as the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation's representative to support Phuket province in a number of projects, including the establishment of the Andaman Pannarai Conference as the second temporary hospital, which earned the university the government's recognition as a crisis-supporting institute.
