PKRU organizes Thai-Chinese Relations activity to celebrate Chinese New Year 2023

PRPKRU: on January 23, 2023, Phuket Rajabhat University by "Educational Management for International Students (EMIS PKRU)” organized "Thai-Chinese Relations" activity to celebrate Chinese New Year 2023.  
 
Assistant Professor Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, Acting President of Phuket Rajabhat University, Vice Consul-General of Phuket Consular Office, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Songkhla, Dr. Warakorn Angsumalee, Chairman of EMIS PKRU, PKRU executive members, faculty staff members, and international students attended the celebration activity at 1st floor hall of Chalermprakiat Building, PKRU.

Assistant Professor Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, Acting President of Phuket Rajabhat University, said, “As the Chinese New Year is a festival celebrating the beginning of the new year according to Chinese calendar and Phuket Rajabhat University has a big family of Chinese students studying at our university, therefore, we have arranged “Thai-Chinese Relations” activity for our beloved Chinese and international students. So that they are able to get together and celebrate Chinese New Year which is a symbol of the great culture of Chinese people. This activity is also for promoting an international atmosphere on PKRU campus. Today's project is a good activity to preserve Chinese cultural heritage and PKRU’s Chinese students can fulfill their traditional practice with love while they are away from their hometown families” 
 
Dr. Warakorn Angsumalee, Chairman of EMIS PKRU, also mentioned, "The "Thai-Chinese Relations" activity is organized to preserve the culture and celebrate the Chinese New Year with Chinese international students who have not returned to their hometowns. It is a good activity for culture exchange among Thai, international and Chinese students at PKRU. It also provides opportunities for students to have a platform to showcase their Chinese language ability and create an exchange of learning experiences with one another. This celebration strengthens a good relationship between Thai, Chinese and international students of PKRU. Besides, it is also a good scheme to promote PKRU reputation to visibility of global universities in terms of her educational management system for international students,” said the Chairman of EMIS PKRU.
