PKRU hosts 14th CWIE DAY
PRPKRU (April 19th, 2023) – The Office of Academic Promotion and Registration (OAPR) hosted the 14th Cooperative and Work Integrated Education Day (CWIEDAY 14) at Phuket Rajabhat University's Faculty of Management Science Building. Dr. Manop Chachiyo, the university's vice president for student development and digital technology, presided over the event's opening, which was attended by university executives such as Asst. Prof. Dr. Thawatchai Thumthong, the university's vice president for academic affairs, research, and education quality development; Asst. Prof. Dr. Wassana Chachiyo, the Director of OAPR; executives from local education institutes; executives from local education institutes, representatives of the universities, lecturers, local entrepreneurs, and students.
According to the president of the event organizing team, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thawatchai, "according to the cooperative and work integrated education promoting policy issued by the Office of Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, PKRU and CWIE network members in the upper southern region have been promoting the form of education by arranging annual CWIE day, with each network member being the host of the event in each year." This event will not only present CWIE projects and working performance, but students will also learn about working experiences and integrated learning shared by CWIE graduates, which will help them prepare for and choose relevant employers in the future."
