PKRU to initiate educational collaboration with US Embassy
(April 26th, 2023) Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwan Chatmaneeroongcharoen, dean of the Faculty of Education at Phuket Rajabhat University, and the faculty lecturers and staff welcomed Ms. Frances A. Westbrook, Director of the United States Embassy's Regional English Language Office (RELO), and her team to the university and discussed educational collaboration between the university and RELO and universities in America.
In addition, the Faculty of Education has been working with education management to achieve the following goals:
1. To educate and develop the workforce in response to the local context and needs, as well as to promote lifelong learning.
2. To conduct research on new bodies of knowledge and educational innovation that fit the demands of the local community and to incorporate them into practical methods.
3. To provide academic services, to teach knowledge, innovations, and local wisdoms, and to use royal guidance in local development with participation from all sectors and organizations.
4. To develop a body of knowledge and educational innovation that is practical and fits the requirements of the local community.
5. To disseminate a body of knowledge, research, and educational innovation through a learning exchange center that includes a demonstration school and an innovation center.
