PKRU hosts edible flowers plantation and transformation training.

PRPKRU (May 30th 2023) The Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU), in partnership with the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), hosted a system development training for flower and garden tree plantation in a consumer safe agricultural system. The training was given in the conference room of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopa Chupeng, the Faculty's dean; scholars, staff, and members of the general public attending.
Guideline for Good Agricultural Practice (GAP); Analysis of Phytochemicals and Nutrients in Flowers and Garden Trees; Guideline for the Use of Edible Flowers, Transformation, and Table Setting; Guideline for edible flowers plantation and marketing; and flower and garden tree plantation development in the southern region were among the topics covered during the training session.
The training was primarily arranged by the Landscaping Technology and Garden Trees major under the program of Sustainable Agricultural Innovation, which oversees providing education, community outreach, and research in the field of flowers and garden trees. This training aims to provide members of the general public with knowledge and methods for running flower and garden tree businesses, as well as safe agriculture.
