The 'Where do PKRU students participate Vegetarian Festival?' campaign was started by the Student Development Division at Phuket Rajabhat University. The goal of this campaign is to make students enthusiastic about the upcoming Vegetarian Festival in Phuket, which will be held from October 3rd to the 11th, 2024. Students can log their attendance at the festival as part of their required public activity hours.

Several shrines on the island wrote to the university, requesting help with the festival, according to the Student Development Division. This campaign was created to encourage students to participate in the festival and register in order to receive public activity hours, in line with the university's policy of promoting local art and culture in all dimensions. It is mandatory for all PKRU students to complete 150 hours of community service, both on and off campus.

Students can earn service hours by taking part in three aspects of this festival:(1) helping to clean the shrine,(2) participating in the procession, and(3) participating in the ceremonies.

Please register at any shrine if you are a student interested in this campaign and let the institution know so that you can receive public activity hours from joining the festival.
