The art thesis exhibition, Rare Silp, is hosted by PKRU.

'Rare - Silp' was the title of the 2024 art thesis exhibition hosted by the Art and Design Major, Program of Arts at the Faculty of Humanity and Social Science, Phuket Rajabhat University. The exhibition showcased the artwork of the fourth-year students. PKRU's Center of Art and Culture hosted the exhibition from September 25th to September 30th, 2024, at the Khun Ying Kanchana Na Ranong Gallery. Asst. Prof. Dr. Tawatchai Thumthong, the Vice President in Academic Affairs, presided over the exhibition's opening on September 25, 2024. The event was attended by university administrators, staff, and students, as well as Ajarn Teerapong Nuchaikaew, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanity and Social Science.
One of the primary goals of such exhibitions is to serve as a showcase for the students' artwork that has been produced through research and study. The art work was created by each student, who selected to study, research, and create it based on their individual talents, which include painting, sculpturing, and mixed media.
The final stage of the artistic process is the exhibition, which encompasses the following steps: 1. Conceptualization, 2. Actualization, and 3. Presentation to the public. In addition, the Program of Art and PKRU are committed to showcasing cultural and artistic works. Our focus is on the development of students' artist abilities and knowledge of visual art for their future careers, as well as the encouragement of students to utilize their art work as a means of promoting social and local community engagement.
