PKRU launches Batik branded ‘OACA by Na Chalong’
The new Batik collection was introduced under the brand OACA by Na Chalong , which is a project within the Smart Center for Southern Development in Tourism and Creative Economy 2024 (PKRU Re-inventing). The Bhumi Panya Batik Center of the Office of Arts and Culture at Phuket Rajabhat University was responsible for operating the initiative.
(January 5, 2025) In conjunction with other Phuket celebrities, Mrs. Kamolsri Ittipornchai, the President of Chalong Women Development Committee, the President of Mueang Phuket Women Development Committee, and the Vice President of Phuket Provincial Women Development Committee, served as a model in the "The Charm of Thai Fabric" fashion show. The Sapan Hin Central Stage in Phuket was the site of the Phuket Signature Product Festival 2025, which included this fashion display. The costumes featured in the fashion display were crafted from the new batik collection of OACA Brand by Na Chalong, a product of the collaboration between PKRU and the Chalong Community. During the production phase, the university provided assistance to the community by designing pattern blocks, painting, and designing products, packages, brands, and logos that were intended to reach the target audience. Additionally, the university assisted in the selection of the Barik pattern that was employed to create the garments that were displayed at this event.
