Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU) is deeply committed to fostering sustainable development and actively encourages its faculty and staff to engage in initiatives that contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The recent participation of Dr. Kanyapat Pattanapokinsakul and Aj. Suphattra Sangthong in the first Responsible Tourism Workshop (RTW) in Southeast Asia, held from 9–12 May 2025 in Kuching, Sarawak, serves as a compelling illustration of this commitment.

Their involvement in this significant regional workshop, which focused on developing training modules and advancing responsible tourism, directly aligns with several SDGs, particularly:

* SDG 4: Quality Education: By contributing to the development of training modules, Dr. Kanyapat and Aj.
