A research team from Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU) received two Excellence Awards for their project titled “Natural Color Production and Printing Technology Based on Local Community Resources through Community Enterprise Participation to Enhance the Grassroots Economy.”

The award-winning team comprises Asst. Prof. Phurinat Paladsongkram and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suthida Rattanaburi from the Faculty of Science and Technology, together with Ms. Udomluk Kongprasom from the Research and Development Institute. The project was carried out with support from the Program Management Unit for Area-Based Development (PMU-A).

The awards were presented during the event “Community Innovation Market, Competition Stage, and App Tech Exhibition of the Rajabhat University Network,” under the Area-Based Technology Transfer Program, which aims to scale up appropriate technologies through the Rajabhat University Network to uplift local communities and address household debt.

The event was organized by PMU-A, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), the Office of the National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), and the Rajabhat University Network.
