PKRU Conducts Emergency Drill and Fire Evacuation Training for Campus Safety

(August 9, 2025) — The Property and Benefit Management Office, Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU), organized the Emergency Drill and Fire Evacuation Training Project for University Safety at Thiansirithorn Conference Room, Chalermprakiat Building. The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thawatchai Thoomthong, Vice President (Acting President), with Mr. Suradech Thongkamkaew, Acting Director of The Property and Benefit Management Office, delivering the report to the chairperson.

The project aimed to enhance knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in responding to emergencies, as well as to strengthen an effective campus safety system. Participants included office staff, university dormitory students, security personnel, dormitory staff, and on-campus vendors.
The training featured realistic simulations of emergency incidents and fire evacuations to ensure that participants could respond accurately, promptly, and safely. The Office extends its appreciation to the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Regional Center Phuket, for providing valuable expertise and hands-on training. This collaboration significantly enhanced the skills and preparedness of PKRU personnel and the campus community.
