PKRU Organizes SDGs Student Exchange Camp for Thai, Malaysian, Japanese, and Chinese Students

(August 26, 2025) — Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU), through the Phuket Language Institute and International Affairs (PHULI) hosted the SDGs Camp Student Exchange under the project “Sustainable Development Learning Camp towards Global Standards.”

The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, President of PKRU, and attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Piangjit Tanticharatwarodom, Vice President for International Affairs and Asset Management, along with PKRU faculty members and students (Thai and Chinese participants).

The event also welcomed international students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), Malaysia, and Suzuka University, Japan, who joined the opening ceremony and knowledge-sharing sessions on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On the first day, guest speakers from PKRU, including Ms. Saisanit Pongsuwan (Faculty of Science and Technology) and Ms. Netchanok Thongchana (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), delivered lectures aimed at raising awareness about sustainable development. Students also had the opportunity to present their innovative ideas through the SDGs Showcase, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants.
