(September 6–8, 2025) Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU), through its Research and Development Institute, organized the project “Rajabhat University Strategic Plan for Local Development” (focusing on quality of life improvement and grassroots economic enhancement), hosting the activity “Reviewing Lessons Learned from Fiscal Year 2025 to Plan and Improve Academic Service Operations for Fiscal Year 2026.”

This activity aligns with Thailand’s 20-Year National Strategy (2018–2037), which aims to create security, prosperity, and sustainability for the nation. One key focus is enhancing the capacity of local communities to be self-reliant and self-managed. Recognizing this mission, PKRU’s Research and Development Institute has continuously applied academic knowledge in collaboration with various partner agencies. Through integrated activities including teaching, academic services, research, and cultural preservation, faculty and students have been actively involved in transferring specialized knowledge to the public and local communities. This collaborative effort aims to support comprehensive development and address issues in education, economy, society, and the environment.

The purpose of this project is to summarize and present the results of activities carried out in fiscal year 2025. More importantly, it provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to “review lessons learned” from past experiences, serving as a guideline to improve and plan academic service operations for fiscal year 2026, maximizing benefits for local communities.
