AirLog PKRU Wins Three National Awards in Tourism, Hospitality, and Aviation Competitions

9 September 2025 — Students from Phuket Rajabhat University’s Bachelor of Business Administration in Airline Business management and logistic (AirLog PKRU) have brought national recognition to the university by winning three honorable mention awards in the Short Video Tour Guide Contest, held as part of the “The 9th National Quiz Competition on Tourism, Hospitality, and Aviation Services” and “The 3rd Short Video Tour Guide Contest,”
The events were organized by the Graduate School of Tourism Management at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA).
This year’s competition attracted more than 80 teams nationwide, with AirLog PKRU advancing to the final round of 34 teams under a highly competitive atmosphere and the scrutiny of an expert judging panel from across the country.

AirLog students showcased outstanding professional knowledge, creativity, and communication skills, earning three honorable mention awards as following:
1.Mr. Kraisit Jattamas (Year 2)
Topic: “Kim Jua Art: The Living Heritage and Faith of Phuket”
2.Ms. Janista Tiranon (Year 2)
Topic: “Multiflavor, Multiculture: A Journey Through Time — Chao Fa Roti in Memory”
3.Ms. Ratika Tapa (Year 4)
Topic: “The Charm of Phuket: Nights of Arts, Culture, and Creativity”
This achievement was made possible through the close guidance and support of Asst. Prof. Nongyao Prasomthong, Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, along with Dr. Theeraphan Sa-nguanvong, Head of Airline Business management and logistic program, who supervised and trained the students, and faculty team members Dr. Weerachai Boonyapatthanapong, Ms. Benjaporn Panmuang, and Mr. Thammanoon Kongsawat, who played a key role in coaching and mentoring.
In addition to the short-video competition, the Airline Business management and logistic program also fielded three teams—AirLog 1, AirLog 2, and AirLog 3—in “The 9th National Quiz Competition on Tourism, Hospitality, and Aviation Services” under the theme “Smart Tourism and Soft Power Synergies: Advancing Sustainable Development through Cross-Sector Collaboration.”
