18 September 2025 – Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU), through its Office of Academic Promotion and Registration, organized “the 2nd PKRU CWIE Matching” (PKRU CWIE Matching 2), a student–employer matching activity under the Cooperative and Work Integrated Education (CWIE) model. The event was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thawatchai Thoomthong, Acting President of PKRU, together with Dr. Warakorn Angsumalee, Deputy Director of the Office of Academic Promotion and Registration, along with faculty members, program chairs, business representatives and students at Khun Loet Phokarak Conference Hall, Andaman Phannarai Convention Center.

This initiative aligns with the policy of the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (OPS MHESI), which continuously supports CWIE programs. Such programs play a vital role in enhancing students’ knowledge, skills and real-world experience to meet labor-market demands and produce work-ready graduates.

PKRU CWIE Matching 2 aimed to provide students with opportunities to meet and match with employers, exchange experiences with senior students who have completed internships, gain insight into career pathways, and make informed decisions when selecting suitable workplaces.   A total of 33 businesses and organizations participated.

Activities included:

– Student–employer matching sessions for cooperative education

– Signing ceremonies of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs)

– Certificate presentations to participating and supporting organizations

– A career-talk session
