PKRU Presents Achievements of GSB Yuwapat Rakthin Project 2025

(3 October 2025) — Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU) organized a presentation event for the GSB Yuwapat Rakthin Project 2025, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, President of PKRU, presiding over the opening ceremony. The event, held at the Thiansirindhorn Conference Room, was attended by university executives, representatives from the Government Savings Bank (GSB), as well as faculty members and student teams participating in the “GSB Yuwapat Rakthin PKRU” project.

This year, PKRU student teams presented their community development initiatives to central and regional committees. The subprojects included:
“Chalong Sukkaparb Withi Thin: Nature Tourism for Wellness Project”
“Toey Panan (Pandanus Tectorius) Weaving Project”
“Value-Added Organic Fertilizer from Anchovy Heads Project”
“Chalong Herbal Bag: Health Innovation Project”
“Lahu: Melody of Wisdom and Way of Life at Phru Nai, Koh Yao Project”


Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn emphasized that Phuket Rajabhat University recognizes the importance of integrated collaboration for local development between PKRU and the Government Savings Bank under the GSB Yuwapat Rakthin Project. The initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of community enterprises, local businesses, and community-based tourism groups to develop products and services that can effectively compete in the market.
He further noted that the program promotes teamwork, the application of academic knowledge to real-world community contexts, and sustainable income generation for local organizations. PKRU is committed to supporting and advancing such collaborative and integrative projects to maximize benefits for the community.
