PKRU Holds Forum on Elevating Phuket Local Cuisine toward Fusion Food

(7 October 2025) – The Faculty of Management Sciences, Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU), organized a forum titled “The Direction of Elevating Phuket Local Cuisine toward Fusion Food” under the project Promotion and Development of Phuket Local Cuisine Integrated with Tourism.

The event was honored by Mr. Samawit Supanpai, Deputy Governor of Phuket, who presided over the opening ceremony. Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, President of Phuket Rajabhat University, delivered the welcoming remarks, while Asst. Prof. Dr. Doungrat Koikitcharoen, Vice President for Planning, Academic Services, and Research, presented the objectives of the event. Asst. Prof. Nongyao Prasomthong, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, presented a souvenir to the guest of honor. The event took place at the 300-Seat Conference Hall, Faculty of Management Sciences, PKRU.

Ms. Mingkwan Nutchakamnoed, Manager, Bangkok Air Catering Phuket
Ms. Ueamphon Christraksa, Manager, Ratsada Municipality Elderly School
The opening ceremony also featured a special performance titled “Wattaphron YonYa Peranakan” by the Ratsada Municipality Elderly School. The forum was attended by PKRU executives, faculty members, students, and honored guests.
