At the Phuket Rajabhat University Council Meeting No. 10/2025, held on October 10, 2025, the Council resolved to appoint an academic staff member to the position of Assistant Professor (Local and Social Engagement) — the first appointment of its kind at both Phuket Rajabhat University and among the Southern Rajabhat Universities.

Assistant Professor Dr. Boonsuppa Tanthai, Lecturer in the Public Administration Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,

has been appointed as Assistant Professor (Local and Social Engagement) in Public Administration.
