(October 14, 2025) – Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU), through the Faculty of Agricultural Technology in collaboration with the Student Development Division, organized the 2025 “Social Engineer Day: Soft Skills Workshop.” The event featured presentations by Social Engineer student teams showcasing their project outcomes. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Manop Chachiyo, Vice President for Student Affairs, together with lecturers of the Social Engineer course and participating students at Petch Andaman Auditorium, Student Affairs Building.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Manop emphasized the importance of this initiative, aligning with His Majesty the King’s Royal Initiative for Rajabhat Universities to serve as “Universities for Local Development.” Under this vision, students are nurtured as “Social Engineers”—individuals who drive community development through knowledge, skills, and a strong sense of social responsibility.

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology recognized the significance of this mission and initiated the project to promote understanding of the Social Engineer concept among students. The activity aimed to help them realize their role in community development and apply their academic and professional knowledge to create sustainable benefits for society. The faculty expressed hope that this event would serve as a platform for learning, experience sharing, and inspiration, empowering students to become graduates who “think critically, act effectively, and contribute positively to society.”
