(1 November 2025) — Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, President of Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU), together with university executives and the academic service working group, visited Phang Nga Province to implement the Rajabhat University Strategic Project for Local Development. The visit included activities under the Lessons Learned from the Implementation of the PKRU Strategic Plan Indicators for Fiscal Year 2025 and Guidelines for the Implementation of Strategic Plan Indicators for Fiscal Year 2026, as well as a presentation on key policies and strategic plans for the university’s development. The sessions were held at Hot Spring Beach Resort & Spa, Phang Nga Province.  

In addition, the team visited academic service areas in Kok Kloy Subdistrict, Takua Thung District, Phang Nga Province, including:

1) Ban Khao Pilai Tie-Dye Community Enterprise Group, presented by Asst. Prof. Phurinat Palad-songkram and the project team.

2) Na Tai Tie-Dye Group, presented by Ms. Chanathinat Chaiphoo and Ms. Chutima Changphum both PKRU lecturers.

The visit also featured a discussion forum for knowledge exchange among local entrepreneurs, government agencies, and private sector representatives. Furthermore, certificates were awarded to Level 4 Community Innovators — those who have demonstrated the ability to understand, adopt, adapt, and expand the application of technology — as certified by the Program Management Unit on Area Based Development (PMU A)
