Visit and buy Andaman Local Products at PKRU Market Place
(PRPKRU) For many years, the staff and students in Phuket Rajabhat University have visited several areas in Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi with the intention to enhance the quality of the local products. We have realized that many communities have good products but without attractive packaging and selling channels, while some communities have valuable materials and local wisdoms passed from their ancestors.
We have been working with the local entrepreneurs on inventing and experimenting based on the science of invention development to create new looks and upgrade the quality as well as maintain the story of the communities and the materials. Our dedication brought various products to the product line, which we call Quality Andaman Local Products, such as fabric, handwoven bags from sea pandanus, skincare from pineapples and local herbs, goat sweetened condensed milk, Saori style woven fabric, modern style batik, seafood products, and souvenirs made of palm seeds.
These products are displayed at the product showroom in the Public Relations Building, Phuket Rajabhat University.
